Take command of an army in strategic, turn-based combat as a tactical advisor for the Orange Star Army. Your expertise is needed as you move land, air and sea units across the battlefield. Combat enemy troops and capture cities and bases to secure victory and keep the peace. Keep an eye on the terrain that can play a crucial role and the weather as you lead a variety of units across multiple maps. This remake includes two campaigns covering the events of Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising!

Defend your country with the help of Andy, Max, Sami and other commanders, each with their own specialties and CO abilities. Andy can repair units, while Sami can increase the abilities of troops. Your opponents can also use their own CO abilities! In both campaigns, the COs you meet play a crucial role both on the battlefield and in the story.

When you're not busy keeping the peace in one of the two campaign stories, show off in Versus Mode. Up to four players can battle on dozens of maps. Each player chooses a CO from one of the campaigns and can strategically use their CO abilities to turn the tide of battle.
